Some historic homes are made into museums, like the childhood home of LBJ
While others, like the childhood home of Chester Nimitz in Fredericksburg, are now arts and craps shops.
I finally got a camera and here are my pictures. Look at them now. (p.s. mad, this is entirely your fault for suggesting I start a photo blog)

When I was getting bused from Lackland AFB to Wichita Falls, the driver took a major detour so we could pass by the LBJ ranch, adding hours to the damn trip. Then, when I was stationed overseas, I became friends with the son of LBJ's ranch foreman. Small world, I guess.
that is a major detour, but the ranch is pretty.
