Historic Homes

Some historic homes are made into museums, like the childhood home of LBJ

While others, like the childhood home of Chester Nimitz in Fredericksburg, are now arts and craps shops.

When I was getting bused from Lackland AFB to Wichita Falls, the driver took a major detour so we could pass by the LBJ ranch, adding hours to the damn trip. Then, when I was stationed overseas, I became friends with the son of LBJ's ranch foreman. Small world, I guess.

that is a major detour, but the ranch is pretty.
